If your air compressor keeps running past the cut out pressure, then you probably need this pressure switch.

Symptoms:-Compressor runs past normal pressure.
-Tank reaches 130, 140, 150 PSI or higher.
-Safety relief valve starts hissing or pops open.
-Motor continues running until thermal overload trips.
What's happening:
The contacts inside the switch fail to open at the cut-out pressure.

FAQ'sQ: Is this easy to replace?
A: Yes, once you disconnect the power, remove the shroud, and drain the air from the tank, simply remove the two terminal wires on top of the switch and using a wrench, remove the switch. Reinstall in the reverse order.
